
ENGLISH CAMP
Overview and Purpose
Students visit Australia during summer or winter vacation to improve their English ability through interaction with real Australian classes and homestay families.
Goals
• Improve English ability through real life experiences and interactions

• Natural exposure to real English situations - Homestay, Speaking tasks outside of the classroom

• 1 - 4 weeks

Education
In class and outside
ENGLISH LESSONS

Students will receive regular English classes during the camp.
Most classes will be conducted with the camp leader, Mr. Joel, and the class topics will be structured to keep students interested and prepare in advance for the upcoming camp.

As a special class unique to Hop On Australia, we plan to conduct a cultural exchange class with local friends. (scheduled for 1-2 sessions)

Studying with local Australia students allows students to learn in a more natural way as well as enjoying making new friends.

Classes will be held at school to ensure easy access and good supervision throughout the class period.

Fun and Educational
BRISBANE SCIENCE MUSEUM

This is a science museum for bright and curious students. Students will have time to study and experience science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) in a way that allows them to develop their imagination through various hands-on activities.

Q1 OBSERVATION DECK

SkyPoint offers panoramic views of the Gold Coast, Australia's highest external building climb, and world-class events, located atop the iconic Q1 building in Surfers Paradise.

STAR GAZING
Another biggest advantage of our camp is that you can experience clean air and skies.
Is there a better place to view amazing stars?
There are also great programs to experience volcanoes (don't worry, it's not an active volcano) and natural fireflies, the students love these experiences.

FIRST NATION PEOPLE CULTURE

Goal: Learning indigenous art and understanding new cultures.
Students learn new styles of art. Indigenous Australians will provide you with an understanding of their culture and history.

THEME PARKS
​
The Gold Coast's theme parks are as famous as its beaches. Representative examples include Movie World, which was created with the theme of movies, Sea World, where various ocean-themed entertainment facilities are concentrated, and Dream World, Australia's largest amusement parks.

CURRUMBIN SANCTUARY

Objective: Learn about animals that live in Australia
It is a nature reserve that protects Australia's wildlife. You can observe more than 1,000 species of wild animals running freely in clean nature, and you can see kangaroos, koalas, as well as scarlet lovebirds and rainbow-colored parrots, which are rare in the world. All animals can be touched and fed.
