We, Joel and Joey, founded Hop On Australia in 2019.
It was a few years in the making and getting it started was one of the best things we have ever done 😁
Both of us have years of experience in education as well as having spent time all over the world, studying, working and leading our lives.
We are friends in life as well as in education and we very much work with the aim of being a source of focused learning whilst always aiming to create happy, lasting memories. By taking our students from all over the globe to the wonderful land of Australia, the camps are a setting for enrichment and happiness. That enjoyment can stem from learning a new skill, exploring the arts, engaging in athletic pursuits, working part-time or just simply by helping students improve their English.
Our whole ethos is based on the students having an amazing time and giving them access to a type of education they would otherwise never experience. As you can see from this website we offer everything from homestay and work experience to online and offline classes.
Of course it is not only the two of us steering the ship as we have worked tirelessly to make sure our entire team are of the highest standard. From our Camp Coordinator Sonya to our Homestay families and local students to photographers, teachers and designers, everyone we work with is amazing at what they do.
We are very proud of our team and we are sure you will be impressed by them too.
By combining a genuine Australian life experience with the joys provided by all the activities we involve them in, Hop On aim to instill a love of language, learning and culture that will set our participants up for their rest of their academic careers and beyond.
Travel and experiencing a different culture helps in breaking down many barriers and essentially assists in making our participants better people. By joining us in this aim you would be helping us to create an experience which resonates with our children and their parents alike as well as all of our adult students.
